Interim Results for the Six Months Ended 30th June 2011

Group Sales for the first six months of 2011 exceeded last year’s figures by £600k, increasing from £9.62m to £10.22m. Pre-tax profit before one-off items and share based payments for the first six-month period of this year was £505k compared with last year’s figure of £564k.

Lees Foods Plc profits exceed £1m

Lees Foods Plc, owners of Lees of Scotland and The Waverley Bakery has announced its year end results to 31 December 2010.

Sales increased to £18.65m (2009: £18.19m). Pre-tax profits before exceptional costs and share based payments rose 22% to £1.03m (2009: £0.84m). Basic earnings per share, from continuing operations rose from 17.98p to 29.28p per share. Dividends have been recommended to increase to 7.5p per share up from 7.2p last year.
