Less Foods appoints Charles Shaw as Chairman


Lees Foods Ltd has appointed Charles Shaw as its new non-executive Chairman. A well-known business figure Mr Shaw is the joint founder of internet company 5pm.co.uk , director of X402 Ltd a software development company and a director of Locate developments Ltd. He was previously CEO of Invergordon Distillers and Board Director of Whyte and Mackay.

Following a period of seven years as a public listed company Lees Foods the parent company of Lees of Scotland and the Waverley Bakery returned to private ownership in July 2012 following a management buyout. Mr Shaw will also become a non-executive director of Lees of Scotland.
