On Saturday 19 August, Lees of Scotland hosted its annual Family Fun Day event for colleagues and their families, to celebrate and reward them for a great year of service.

A big thanks to Jim from Gracious Party’s who compered the day and kept the party going with music & party games, the Scottish Fire Brigade Heritage Trust for bringing their fire engine along and chunky dunks for providing the bouncy slide.

The families also enjoyed a pizza from Mamma Mia pizzeria, treats from the ice-cream van, home baking, face painting and factory tours. One of the highlights was the soak the manager stall, where the children took great delight (and encouragement from their parents) in soaking managers with a wet sponge.

Overall, Lees of Scotland raised £1,895.50 which was donated to St Andrews hospice in Airdrie, a specialist palliative care hospice who provide multidisciplinary support for patients, families and carers free of charge.
