Lees of Scotland have bolstered its senior management team following a series of internal promotions and strategic appointments.

At the start of this year Lees of Scotland embarked on a year long celebration of its 90th year in business, with a specific focus on investing in its future. At the core of this investment is a new team structure.

Martin has worked within the food industry for over 30 years and was recently responsible for successfully delivering a significant number of new products to market across a 12-month period. At Lees, Martin will be focusing on driving forward new and improved products.

Joining Martin as new additions to the business will be Robert Russell and Tim Clark. Robert will be joining Lees as a buyer and will be responsible for purchasing all ingredients and packaging alongside further procurement needs. Tim will be joining as the new HR and Training Manager and will be tasked with overseeing the improvements across HR and training functions while leading the manufacturing excellence programme.

The appointments will ensure Lees of Scotland possess the quality and skills to continue to grow the business and evolve for the future.

Development and Technical Director, Martin Ruck, said:

“This is a really exciting year for us and it’s great to be a part of a business that is willing to invest in its team and develop new ways of working.
