The Waverley Bakery has launched its campaign to search for the winner of the 2015 Golden Cone Award.

The Golden Cone Awardswere launched in 2013 with Scotland’s favourite Sunday newspaper, The Sunday Mail, and this year will be the biggest and best yet!

Our campaign to find the country’s favourite place to enjoy ice-cream began yesterday and will celebrate Scotland’s passion for ice-cream.

The public will have the chance to vote for their favourite place to eat and enjoy ice cream and once the finalists have been shortlisted a panel of judges including Scottish actress Libby McArthur, Sunday Mail columnist Cat Harvey and industry specialist Jean Pearce of Danisco/DuPont will visit the establishments in order to select the 2015 Golden Cone Award winner. The much anticipated results will be announced on the 24th May 2015 in The Sunday Mail so be sure to pick up a copy!
